Easter Monday with Cantine Coppo – Underground Cathedrals & Aperitivo

Celebrate Easter Monday with a journey through the UNESCO-listed underground cathedrals of Cantine Coppo. These spectacular cellars offer a glimpse into Canelli’s winemaking heritage and are followed by a tasting of Coppo’s finest wines, including their “1892” Metodo Classico and Barbera d’Asti “L’Avvocata”.
An elegant light aperitivo completes the experience. Optional extras include additional glasses of wine (€5 each) and the opportunity to purchase your favourites directly on-site.
Vinum – Italy’s Largest Open-Air Wine Cellar

Vinum is a celebration of Piedmont’s wine culture in the vibrant heart of Alba. This open-air wine fair transforms the city into a haven for wine lovers with guided tastings, workshops, cooking demonstrations, and local street food. Sample DOCG wines including Barolo, Barbaresco, Moscato, and Roero Arneis, while enjoying live entertainment and family-friendly activities at Vinum Bimbi.
Giro del Nizza – A Journey Through Barbera Country

For those who enjoy wine with a side of countryside charm, the Giro del Nizza is a two-day food and wine trail through the vineyards and cellars of Nizza DOCG producers. Organised by the Regional Wine Shop of Nizza Monferrato and Slow Food Alessandria, this event allows you to discover barrel rooms, taste local wines, and savour regional delicacies in a setting of rolling hills and welcoming wineries.
Wander from one estate to another, sip exceptional Barbera-based reds, and experience the essence of Piedmontese winemaking.
Festa di Primavera – A Celebration in the Heart of Canelli

Welcome the season with the Festa di Primavera, a joyful spring celebration set in the lively heart of Canelli. The town centre transforms into a hub of activity with local markets, typical food and wine stands, and family-friendly entertainment throughout the day.

Nizza è Barbera – A Celebration of Wine, Music & More

Each spring, the charming town of Nizza Monferrato transforms into a vibrant stage for Nizza è Barbera, a festival dedicated to the iconic Barbera D.O.C.G. and D.O.C. wines of Piemonte.
At the Barbera Forum, over 70 producers will present more than 400 wines for tasting, offering an unforgettable opportunity to explore the depth and diversity of this celebrated variety. The experience continues with local food stalls, flea markets, and open-air performances.
Don’t miss “Nizza, Barbera & Music”, a dynamic collaboration with Collisioni Festival featuring live concerts and DJ sets that fill the streets and piazzas with energy and joy.
