Villa del Borgo
Villa del Borgo

History from 1700 to today

Immersed in the historical heart of Canelli, Villa del Borgo stands proudly, having risen from an ancient religious residence founded between the 18th and 19th centuries. The Relais overlooks the Roman cobblestone path, the Sternia, which leads explorers to the enigmatic ‘underground cathedrals’ and the famous Gancia Castle.

Within the confines of the hotel is the Baroque-style Church of San Rocco, which now serves as a dynamic space for events, exhibitions and displays. Walking through our corridors and suites, hints of the monastic life led by the monks of St Augustine in times gone by are palpable.
